This book documents my trip to Italy in the spring of 2009. The flagbook structure conveys the overwhelming sensation I experience whenever I look back on my time there. The text and drawings were scanned from the sketchbook I filled during the trip. The book can be viewed chronologically, or the viewer may flip through the pages randomly, further experiencing the memories as I remember them. This piece was one of the 4th place winners in the 2010 Artbound Competition, making it a part of the permanent collection at the University of Florida.

Anyone who enjoys food blogs should check hers out, titled Not Eating Out in NY. I was lucky enough to stumble upon her book, The Art of Eating In, during my internship at Penguin Books.
